Convening at Kitty’s

Okay, I’ll admit that parts of my last post were steeped in high school pettiness. Deep down, I knew that tonight’s get-together would probably be more enjoyable than the awkward seethe-fest I had predicted the day before. It wasn’t quite party-of-the-century, but it was certainly tolerable and it was a joy to see most everyone! Most everyone. And concerning that missed date thing…it had to have been a miscommunication and, contrary to what I said before, I’ve already forgotten about it. Just like you clearly have. Crap.

10 people in total attendance. Not too shabby! Plus a story that will have the girlfriend rolling when she comes back to town. Worthwhile, when all is said and done.
