WhatUpThen Sighting

Right now, I think I’ll try a blogger post that doesn’t mention school…again.

I will, however, mention Happy Donut, which is where I am after spending the evening with my sister. We wondered what the most pretentious neighborhood in the U.S. was while walking strolling through the Gourmet Ghetto in North Berkeley. That neighborhood has got to be in the top five with its Volvos and Priuses and cheese cooperatives and vegan Japanese restaurants and flowing hippie skirts and the absence of liquor stores and Andronico’s. The problem with Andronico’s for me is that I would go in there and just buy all the same brands I would buy at the typical supermarket, thus defeating the purpose. Anyway, it was plenty of fun hanging out with her.

Damn, I’ve run out of steam already.  I’d better be careful driving home across the bridge ’cause my ass is falling asleep in the donut shop.  If I blog Sunday, you’ll know I’m not dead.  Or if I wait two weeks and then blog, you’ll know; you’ll just be worried sick for the duration, right??
