Illness (not like the Beastie Boys)

My previous post, Assorted Crap, helped yield my biggest day on blogger…170 hits!!  It was the paragraph about the WNBA.  The post the was linked from Women’s Hoops Blog (which I used to have on my Ice Climber blogroll) and from RebKell’s Junkie Boards, a very active women’s basketball forum.

I wanted to maintain the momentum by writing more about women’s basketball because I do have things to say about it.  But I’ve been stricken (struck?) by something, I don’t even know.  Pounding headache all night and all day.  Goosebumps and that weird sensation on my skin.  My head has felt so heavy and the throbbing and I’ve had no energy.  If I weren’t afraid of making a bad impression on my first week of work (because the students don’t arrive until next week) I wouldn’t have gone today.  And, until now, I haven’t even had the motivation to climb from my bed to the desk to type this.  Ugh, this sucks.  I’m headed back to bed now.
