All Dressed Up…

Well, I didn’t go to a Halloween party this weekend. The options were limited. Melissa offered some Chinese masquerade party but that wouldn’t have worked, even with the Asian escort to make me legitimate. And yes, I used “Asian escort” deliberately to get more site traffic. Brian tried calling the women we met at the Nexus last weekend to latch on to any event they were thinking of, but it turns out they gave him a fake number. What the fuck?! There’s nothing cool about that.  And look at what they missed out on!!

Some of you might think this is nothing special, but I’m not an arts-and-crafts person and I’ve never done anything like this.  I had to look up paper-mache on the internet (Thanks, The Papier Mache Resource!) and it took me all day Saturday.  And after all that, I didn’t get to show it off anywhere but here.  It’s not perfect…I can hardly see through those little eye holes, and I still have to support it with my hands.  It’s cool, though.  I’m so ridiculous, I’ve been thinking about making this costume for YEARS, so I just feel very satisfied that I actually did it!
