I’m With You All The Way

Nexus Love

Hey, Hey!! A comment from the Nexus! I don’t know exactly which one of you wrote such kind words (I’m guessing Tim, although you all are capable) but thanks and tell your friends about my wild little site!

I’ve only been to the Nexus a handful of times in the past few years, but every time has been like a 9.9 on the 1-10 scale. It’s just a few college friends and their assorted boyfriends/girlfriends/family/friends but each person I meet there just seems so cool. So chill and mellow and interesting/funny. The people there are like Sunsweet Ones…the sweetest, plumpest dried plums you can find. It’s like the greatest nightclub ever, except it’s a house where people live. Maybe it’s because I go out so infrequently that really fun parties are still a novelty to me, but that’s becoming less and less true each week. Or maybe it’s that I’ve finally learned to enjoy myself at these things; I know how to pace myself with conversation as well as alcohol. But, in the case of the Nexus, it’s gotta be the people, too. In all sincerity, I love you all too and I can’t wait until the next get-together. In fact, what are you doing for Halloween? I have a great costume!

  1. You guessed correct! For those souls digging around in the comments…
I didn’t even know Chris was whatupthen let alone a blogger until I woke up the morning after the shindig mentioned above and saw the bookmark bar had a new button in it! I gave Chris a hug at about 1am in the parking lot of, now, smart and final, formerly, Boneys, Formerly, Picadilly Circus, formerly, Wild Oats… we were all mannicly yelling and playing bikeball(search wikipedia), in various states of inebriation, and just before the cops came and ended up watching for 30 minutes. An hour earlier Chris and Daniel began what was basically the first impromtu concert the house had seen in a long time, with Daniel on the keyboard and Chris Singing. It was such a beautiful display of expression in a house in the middle of frickin best-of-suburbia silicon valley, amidst great friends, most of which had never met before.
It was a special night, a passing of an amazing era of the Nexus as Chado departs on more of life’s adventures in far off lands. Otherwise we probably would have had a halloweeen party.

  2. So…I have to say I’m really impressed that you made your own custom.

Oh and I also got the chance to read about the Mrs. Chavez story.

It’s really sad that parents are so uptight and worried about the little things in life….shit; she made it seem that her daughter will FAIL the class…lol.

Anyhow, on a lighter note…let me know when I can go down to CALI. I would love to see you soon or maybe your friends and my friends should plan-out a long and well deserved vacation in Hawaii or Miami.

    *HUGS*

    Kristian
