I’m With You All The Way

Just In Time For Cold Season

Labs to prepare, tests to correct, a room to clean, friends to call, bills to pay…a million tasks I haven’t done. But somehow last night I found time to SHAVE MY CHEST.

Better add the ’silliness’ tag right now.

Maybe I did it because I’m giddy for the upcoming payday. Maybe it’s an unconventional way of celebrating our blowout win in the final game of the adult basketball league. Perhaps it’s because a pretty lady suggested it. Regardless, my chest now looks like a giant canvas and I want to paint cream-colored flames on it like the chassis on a hot rod. Damn that I never learned to use Photoshop!

For some reason I have a jar of Lavender & Chamomile petroleum jelly in my desk drawer (but not for that reason). Why did I buy this?? A giant 13 oz. jar! It’s been here for months nearly untouched and I honestly cannot remember what it was for in the first place, but it sure felt good to slather on that flower-scented smoothness before I went running this evening. The little bristles of hair had been killing me all day.

This hair-free thing will require a little more upkeep than I’m accustomed to, but I like the look so it shouldn’t be a big problem. Feedback totally welcome if you haven’t yet shuddered away from your keyboard! In other news, I’m totally working on getting the uncategorized posts categorized, as well as reducing the number of categories. I’m guessing that those “dubious accomplishments” and “artisan” tags aren’t going to be the subjects of many searches.

  1. I shave my chest all the time…what’s the big deal? [kidding =)]

Stubble is the worse. It cause mucho chaffing and redness. I’m sure your jelly will be put to good use. Um, for your chest. It’s a good look, though!

  2. This is awesome. I was really surprised at this post.
Thanks for sharing. It’s really unexpected.
    I love it.
