Nights Transformed into Legends

Alright, let me say this and, I know most of you would agree with me…the times when you go out and something special or different or enjoyable occurs are the best times, right?  I’m talking when you meet new people or learn something about someone you already met or engage in a new experience.  For example, one of my most memorable times in SeaTac (where I’ll be visiting the day after tomorrow) was after visiting that gurudwara.  The Sikh temple was great and I learned so much and that alone would have made the day.  But afterwards, I hooked up with some white people who were also guests of the gurudwara and we straight went out to a Seattle bar.  It was nothing special…just 3 or 4 20-somethings getting a few drinks; it was special to me, though, because it totally was not on my radar for the evening, and I had so much fun.  It was unlike most other nights when out-and-about.

Tonight was one of those nights.  It started out as “play a little basketball and be home by 10pm” and transformed itself into “meet here, eat here, drink there, blog about the experience after 3am”.  Brian, Kristin and I changed our original plans and went out, then changed plans again and hit up a bar and now the spunky, savvy (and not-too-shabby-looking) Lexie has entered our lives.  One evening is a small sample size to judge from, but I think meeting her is going to end up a good thing.
